Singapore Yi Qiang Dragon & Lion Dance Troupe was set up on 11 October 2004 by Mr. Tan Chee Khiang together with a group of enthusiasts who possess a deep passion in the arts of Dragon and Lion dance and are willingly to spread these ancient Chinese arts to youngsters in the modern society. Our training provides them wide range of knowledge and elements which will enhance both their physical and mental strength. These are accomplished through the progressive training we had every week. Our members will also gain great experience through competitions and during Chinese New Year performance. Besides concentrating on training, we educate them the importance of "Team Work" and work as a big family because we believe that we have certain responsibility to guide them through the correct path in life and to watch them grow from boys to men.

On the other hand, the never-ending pursuing for perfection and overcoming challenges ahead never fails to bring us to a greater height. Hence, we are confidently said to be professionally trained and readily to provide world-class performance during Chinese New Year, Business opening, Wedding functions, and many other joyful occasions.
